Honeywell Elster RABO is suitable for measuring of natural gas and various filtered, non-corrosive gases. Honeywell Elster rotary gas meters are characterized by high measuring ranges and compact dimensions. They ensure high accuracy, even if the gas flow is low or irregular. RABO combines tried-and-tested product features of previous rotary gas meters from Elster-Instromet. Rotary gas meters are volume-measuring devices for gaseous media which operate according to the positive displacement principle. Due to their volumetric measuring principle, their functioning is not influenced by the installation.

Honeywell Elster Quantometers are highly reliable turbine gas meters, which are used in many industrial applications to determine the actual flow rate as well as consumption over a period of time fulfilling requirements of industrial, non-fi scal metering. The Q/Q75 offering is mainly used for heavier industral applications where the Q Type is available for sizes up to DN150/6” and the Q75 cover the range from DN200/8” to DN600/24”. For light industrial applications Quantometers QA/QAe are recommended. For fiscal applications Honeywell offers fiscally approved meters e.g. TRZ2 and SM-RI-X turbine meters and the RABO rotary gas meter.

The SM-RI-X is used for custody transfer applications along the complete gas value chain high from production, to pipeline transmission stations, down to local distribution and city gate stations. SM-RI-X turbine meters are also applied at larger industrial and commercial gas consumers where accurate gas measurement is key. Power plants are only one example. Honeywell Elster SM-RI-X turbine gas meters are robust meters for operation under the most demanding conditions (offshore and onshore). Over decades they have proven to be highly accurate from first calibration on to the end of their lifetime many years later. The long-term measurement stability and highest reliability of the SM-RI have made it become a standard in high volume gas measurement.

Honeywell Elster TRZ2 turbine gas meters are robust meters used to accurately and reliably measure gas consumption in gas distribution, industrial plants or for commercial users. Over decades they have proven to be highly accurate from the first calibration on to the end of their lifetime many years later. This is why leading gas distribution companies around the globe rely on the TRZ2 for their standard gas metering applications.
