CONTROL AND SAFETY VALVES

The HON HSV086 is a Safety Shut-off Valve (SSV) offering superior over-pressure and under-pressure protection. This shut-off valves is used in gas transmission systems, gas distribution networks and industrial gas pressure regulating systems.

• Maximum pressure: ANSI 300: 50 bar; ANSI 600: 100 bar
• Operating temperature: -20°C to +60°C
• Ambient temperature: -30°C to +60°C
• Set range for overpressure: ANSI 300: 3-49.5 bar; ANSI 600: 3-90 bar
• Set range for underpressure: 0.7 – 10 bar

The S100 Slam Shut Valve protects gas installations against dangerous overpressure conditions and is normally fitted on the inlet side of the regulator.
The S100 incorporates a visual valve position indicator. It can be supplied with a micro switch for remote indication. The manual reset has an automatic integral equalising valve ensuring safe resetting procedures and eliminating costly by-pass systems. The S100 can be mounted in any orientation. The unit can be specified with the reset mechanism on either side of the body.
The Series 100 Slam Shut Valve has been designed to meet the requirements of BGES/V9 and DIN3381.
The S100 has been approved to module B + D of the PED 97/23/EC by BSI Notified body No. 0086). It is classified as Category IV equipment and a safety accessory.

The S200 Slam Shut Valve protects gas installations against dangerous under pressure and over pressure conditions and is normally fitted on the inlet side of the regulator.
The S200 is available with a visual and/or micro switch valve position indicator.
The manual reset has an automatic integral equalising valve ensuring safe resetting procedures and eliminating costly by-pass systems. The S200 can be mounted in any orientation. The unit can be specified with the reset mechanism on either side of the body.
The Series 200 Slam Shut Valve has been designed to meet the requirements of DIN3381.
The S200 has been approved to module B (by DVGW Notified body No. 0085) and module D (by BSI Notified body No. 0086) of the PED 97/23/EC. It is classified as Category IV equipment and a safety accessory.
